The World Health Organisation has just come out with a recommendation that electronic cigarettes are harmful. In the past they have endorsed the electronic cigarette as there has not been enough evidence that the electronic cigarette is harmful.
The electronic cigarette is just another way to deliver nicotine to the body and anybody that thinks that nicotine is not harmful is deluding themselves. Nicotine is a stimulant and when it enters the body it causes the blood vessels to constrict. By doing this it increases your blood pressure and thus your chances of stroke. By constricting your blood vessels nicotine interferes with the proper circulation of nutrients to your body and is therefore harmful. The biggest organ of your body, your skin shows the effect of smoking quite easily. Long term smokers look older because their skin does not get the right nutrients; this is only one organ, what of the other organs in the body.
Nicotine is harmful and anybody that thinks that they can use nicotine on a long term basis without harming themselves is deluding themselves.
