We use hypnotherapy to help people to quit smoking in 60 minutes and a key to this being successful is that the person must want to quit smoking cigarettes. if they are fearful about quitting then this must first be addressed.

They see smoking as almost a friend: it’s always there for them and they have been doing it for a long time. What will they do if they do not have smoking?

Let’s look at this and the cost to you of thinking like this. Firstly it’s like a friend and it’s always there. If I was to offer you a deal in life where I would benefit but you would get nothing would you enter into that deal? The answer is of course no. Here’s the deal you have with smoking. The cost of having smoking as a friend and for it always to be there is that you will die early, this is not a maybe, and your chances of cancer and heart disease increase considerably. It’s not a fair deal so why continue with it?

Here is another perspective. Would you be friends with someone that would slowly but surely kill you? The answer is of course no. That’s what you are doing when you continue smoking.

By quitting smoking you can use the extra time to be more productive or you can use it to just relax. There are a thousand and one things you can do rather than smoke!!

When you consider the price that you pay to smoke there is no other product that costs you as much in the world. It makes sense to quit smoking, the sooner the better.
